2013 Subaru Forester

Nice to see you agina guys! Today i want to introduce the Subaru Forester 2013.This is a successful small wagon, competes against other car-based compact crossovers including the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V. It seats five people and has standard all-wheel drive. Generally, Subaru Forester drives more like a car than like an SUV and it features a superb all-wheel-drive system giving it excellent foul-weather capability. For 2013, the base Forester 2.5X includes a new stereo with Bluetooth cellphone connectivity and audio streaming, iPod control capability, a USB port and steering-wheel controls.

Handling is one of Subaru's significant strengths, although with the advent of the Mazda CX-5 and the Ford Escape, it has significant competition for the title of best-balanced crossover. But it remains confident, stable, and predictable on twisty roads, tight corners, and uneven surfaces. And the flat-four engine keeps the weight low, so it's far from tippy despite the substantial 8.9 inches of ground clearance that make it the perfect car for camping, gravel tracks, and unplowed snowy roads.

Moreover, The Subaru Forester is a very practical vehicle. The rear seats are easily fold flat to make a gigantic cargo area capable of carrying lots of gear. That alone is a big plus, and it's one of the reasons the Forester is such a good family vehicle. The front doors are wide, and the rear doors swing open widely, making it easy to get in and out.

The Subaru Forester is not about looks. It's not bad looking, but it's a pragmatic vehicle, not meant to be a pretty one. There are no touches that you could call especially lovely, as there are none you could call unattractive.
Subaru has stated that it will launch its first hybrid model in 2013 as well, with the car initially launching in Japan though arriving in the U.S. by the end of that same year. It will be based on an existing model. I am really looking forward for the release date!!!!!!!!!

2012 MINI Cooper

Hi guys,
This time i would like to introduce -2012 MINI Cooper. The MINI Cooper is the type of car that will get you the attention of onlookers but with a pricetag most mere mortals could afford. The modern MINI, currently in its second generation, has proven a hit with both sexes, and that’s easy to see why when you consider that the car not only looks good but it can be downright sporty in some trims.

If sporty dynamics are your thing, then we recommend sticking with the hard-top. If you prefer driving with the sun on your face and the wind in your hair however, there’s also a 2012 MINI Cooper Convertible. Being so small, the cars also have stellar fuel-efficiency. The Cooper is the most frugal, returning as much as  28/36 mpg city/highway with the automatic. Opt for the manual and you can add 1 mpg to both of those figures.

Despite the busy interior look, it's a comfortable place to be--for front seat passengers--with soft seats and plenty of headroom. Materials are not as nice as you might expect given the MINI's price range, with hard plastics dominating the dash and control surfaces.

At the core of the MINI Cooper experience, however, is the driving. From the base 121-horsepower, 1.6-liter four-cylinder to the 181-hp turbocharged Cooper S to the 208-hp John Cooper Works, the whole Cooper range is nimble, light, balanced, and entertaining to drive.

Hyundai to debut the i20 WRC at the 2012 Paris Motor Show

Hyundai will present the WRC- World Rally Championship specification based Hyundai i20 during the 2012 Paris Motor Show which is on 27 th September. The European headquarters at Offenbach, Germany, will be developing with this.

The WRC model will be a highly tuned variant of the showroom model. Hyundai has participated in the WRC earlier as well, from the year 2000 to 2003.

With this version of the Hyundai i20, the company will take on Volkswagen Polo-R. The specifications for the WRC model Hyundai i20 haven’t been disclosed yet but the speculations are that WRC i20 will be powered by a turbocharged petrol engine which will be capable of 200bhp of power with immense ride and handling capabilities.

Maserati announces new model names

It was at the Paris Motor Show that Maserati has announced the names of three of its upcoming new cars, two of which are the auto manufacturer’s new SUV and sports saloon.

The luxury car brand’s new production SUV will be named the Levante despite its 2011 concept originally being called the Kubang. What is the significance of the word Levante? Well, it comes from the Via Emilia Levante in Bologna in Italy where the Maserati brothers conceived the idea of the company.

The Levante is expected to launch in 2014.

While the hardware of the Levante SUV will be based on the Jeep Cherokee, it will receive special trimming and styling as well as italian specific engines to justify its luxury car status and price tag.

Maserati’s new mid-sized sports saloon will be called the Ghibli.

With the addition of the Quattroporte, Maserati hopes to see sales grow to 50, 000 by 2015.

Land Rover announces MY13 Discovery 4

Land Rover will introduce its upgraded Disco 4 for the 2013 model year from January. Key points of the new model year upgrade include a detuned version of the 3.0-litre diesel V6 in lieu of the current 2.7-litre diesel engine, and ZF's new eight-speed automatic for the V6 variants.

In addition, Land Rover will launch the upgraded Discovery with new colour combinations – comprising five new colours – an enhanced audio system and new interior trim materials and colours. New option packs include an extended leather pack and Black Design packs that can be ordered with a choice of 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels finished in black.

"The Discovery 4 continues to win awards for its unrivalled versatility and breadth of capability, accommodating up to seven passengers in comfort whatever the terrain," said John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director, as quoted in a press release. "For 2013, the breadth of choice gets better, with equipment upgrades and our new Black Design Packs enhancing the key design attributes that our customers identify with today. As the ultimate all-purpose vehicle, the Discovery 4 is now more compelling than ever before."

Land Rover has dropped the 2.7-litre turbodiesel V6 for the new model year, its place taken by a detuned version of the 3.0-litre V6. The existing engine continues, developing 183kW and 600Nm, and is joined by the 155kW version that produces 520Nm. Both engines produce peak torque from as low as 2000rpm and the 155kW version emits fewer grams of CO2 than the smaller engine it supplants – 224g/km versus 244g/km for the older V6. The 183kW engine also discharges lower CO2 emissions than the old 2.7 – 230g/km.

Land Rover has adopted the ZF eight-speed automatic (coded 8HP70) for the diesel V6 applications, dropping the six-speed ZF box, which does carry on as the 6HP28 matched to the 5.0-litre petrol V8. A more efficient transmission, the 8HP70 features closer ratios, but a higher top gear for relaxed freeway cruising. The gear cluster aids fuel economy, as do an improved hydraulic pump, a torque converter that locks up at lower speeds and/or operating temperatures, and a revised mechanical layout that the manufacturer claims requires only two internal clutches open simultaneously. Neutral is selected when the car is stationary and automatically runs the engine in lower gears (at higher engine speeds) in hotter conditions to improve airflow and output from the climate control system, or in colder conditions to hasten the warm-up of the engine to reduce emissions and fuel use. An adaptive unit, the ZF 8HP70 monitors driver input and holds gears in corners and bends. Shifting takes place within 200 milliseconds and the transmission does not need to change sequentially; it can skip up to six gears if necessary.

Porsche delivers fully uniformed Panamera to NSW Police

Porsche Cars Australia has delivered a Panamera sedan to NSW Police as a community engagement and promotional tool. As part of its corporate social responsibility program, Porsche has offered the car initially for a six-month trial, with an option for a further six months should the NSW Police see sufficient benefit.

The company will absorb all costs for the car bar fuel, tolls and traffic infringement fines.

The $200K Panamera, a 220kW/400Nm V6 model, has been optioned up with the Sport Chrono Package Plus, sharpening up the engine response and handling. Despite this, a 20-inch wheel upgrade, full NSW Police livery, a full panoply of flashing lights and 260km/h top speed, it will not be used for enforcement or pursuit. Rather, the company and NSW Police envisage it will play an important goodwill role, raising public curiosity and acting as an icebreaker between police and the public.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Murdoch, on hand to take delivery of the car, told motoring.com.au the Panamera will be shared by the Harbourside and North Shore Area Commands. “But we’ll obviously be sending it out to get all the exposure we can for it. We’ve already slated it for the V8 Supercars in Homebush, and we’re looking to get it out to Bathurst as well.”

In a statement, NSW Police spokesman Superintendent Alan Sicard said the car has plenty of potential as a point of community engagement. “The use of a Porsche at community events, fairs and programs will act as an icebreaker in talking to younger members of the public; in particular whose dealings or perception of the police are often generally negative.

“The Porsche gives us a chance to talk to kids on an informal basis outside the legal system in the hope that we can influence them and help them make a positive contribution to society.”

Asked if similar presentations were planned for other states, Porsche spokesman Paul Ellis told motoring.com.au the company will assess the NSW exercise before looking interstate. “This is the first time we’ve delivered a car for such a purpose, so we’re as interested as they are to see how it goes, what kind of uses they might find for it.”

The Genetic Testing Registry (GTR) provides a central location for voluntary submission of genetic test information by providers. The scope includes the test's purpose, methodology, and validity, evidence of the test's usefulness, and laboratory contacts and credentials. The overarching goal of the GTR is to advance the public health and research into the genetic basis of health and disease.

How to use GTR's web site
This describes how to use the GTR to find tests and other genetic information. The content of this site is designed to assist health care providers and researchers navigating the landscape of genetic tests. Patients and consumers with specific questions about a genetic test should contact a health care provider or genetics professional.

BMW Latest Luxury Car Models-(2012 BMW 3 Series)

Hi guys, this time i would like to introduce a new brand and new model of car model in this blog, it is 2012 BMW 3 Series!!!!!
In the past, the BMW 3 Series balanced good looks, excellent handling, luxurious features, and usable interior space. The sixth-generation model will likely continue in that vein, offering more aggressive front end styling, a larger cabin, and improved tech features. For power, the 2012 BMW 3 Series sedan receives the same 240-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 that powers the 528i and Z3 sDrive28i as a base engine in the 328i.

Since only the BMW 3-Series sedan was redesigned for 2012, those who have tested it focus their comments on this model. They’re impressed with the new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. They also like that BMW made the sedan slightly longer and wider, which gives back-seat passengers more legroom. They’re glad BMW didn’t change the interior too much and like the luxurious materials and impeccable build quality.

BMW claims the new four-cylinder is nearly as quick on its feet as the outgoing naturally aspirated six. That means a 0-to-60-mph run of about 5.6 seconds with the stick shift and 5.8 with the automatic. BMW rates the 335i’s 0-to-60 capability at 5.4 seconds.

Don't mess with a good thing. You can imagine these words hanging above the engineers and designers who created the redesigned 2012 BMW 3 Series.Clearly, the new 3-series is the compact sports sedan for a changed world. This is where 24/7 connectivity and socially responsible consumption join hands with skidpad grip and slalom-course agility.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 2013

The newest Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 2013 has been released. The most interesting news is that Lamborghini is optimized dampers to both improve handling and soften the ride. The Aventador is a jump of two generations in terms of design and technology, it's the result of an entirely new project, but at the same time it's a  consistent continuation of Lamborghini's brand values. It is extreme in its design and its performance.
The newest additions to the Aventador’s drivetrain is impressive as it will use supercaps – a start-stop system which can restart the engine in 180 milliseconds. Yeah, that’s faster than any human can ever notice.

Aventador's performance and handling are excellent because it pumps out 691bhp, making it the most powerful road-going Lamborghini made.

The new engine is more efficient than before and it might actually produce less CO2 over the course of a year than an ordinary car.                        X Leo_42220440
